LIFE IS HARD, a tech company listed on the Bucharest Stock Exchange and one of the issuers included in the BET-AeRO index, closed 2025 with an increase in revenues (+2% compared to the previous year), but with a decline in profit: -3 million RON in 2025, compared to 507,751 RON at the end of 2024.
At the same time, the companies in which LIH holds stakes recorded very strong results last year: Innobyte Solutions increased profit (+14%), while Performia Finance marked its first year of accelerated growth, reaching RON 5.4 million in turnover and RON 1.2 million in profit.
In terms of LIH’s revenue structure, 51% of turnover was generated by the Engine (ITC) division, while 49% came from solutions dedicated to the insurance industry, through the Tomorrow (Insurance) division.
“2025 was a difficult year, with multiple pressures coming both from the market and internally. All of them had to be integrated and absorbed quickly into the business, and our focus shifted from LIH’s profitability to maintaining the organization’s stability and flexibility. 2025 was defined by constant adaptation and the effort to continue developing the company under stressful conditions,” said Cătălin Chiș, CEO of the company.
2025 was also the first year in which the Intentions division, the incubator for new business projects within LIH, attracted revenues of over EUR 5 million for the launch of Sales Academy courses. The courses are financed through six projects funded from European sources: one dedicated exclusively to increasing digitalization consulting skills for LIH’s internal teams, and five other projects developed in collaboration with insurance brokers, enabling them to expand access to workforce resources.
"Sales Academy is the first non-formal education structure in Romania focused on training the next generation of sales consultants prepared for hybrid work (traditional and digital) in their relationship with consumers. The Academy will train over 1,400 young people by 2028, and the first cohort of trainees is already enrolled in the program", added Cătălin Chiș.
