Blu Capital Partners Corporate Advisory (BCP CA) announces the completion of its mandate as exclusive strategic and financial advisor to Mobile Vet, Romania’s leading provider of integrated veterinary services, in the process of its sale to LuxVet Group, Poland, one of the most important consolidators of veterinary clinics in Central and Eastern Europe.
This transaction comes at a time when pets are playing an increasingly important role in the lives of Romanians. According to an opinion poll conducted by INSCOP in 2025, 57.1% of Romanians currently own pets, and the preference for dogs (47.6%) over cats (21.2%) reflects the need for active companionship and security.
Founded in 2013, Mobile Vet has grown organically, through expansion of its physical locations, portfolio of services and products, maintaining high medical and technological standards. In February 2026, the founding shareholders of Mobile Vet signed a full exit to the Polish company LuxVet, based on a transaction structure designed to accelerate the expansion of the network and support the company's sustainable growth.
BCP CA's services covered the entire transaction process: from strategic preparation, financial modelling, and company valuation, to identifying and approaching investors, managing the Q&A process and comparative analysis of non-binding offers (NBOs) received, to negotiating and selecting the investor, coordinating due diligence, and negotiating the final documentation, including signing and closing the transaction. BCP CA structured and conducted a competitive process that generated multiple strategic offers, advising shareholders on the optimum transaction structure and negotiating the transaction documents.
The transaction confirms BCP CA's expertise in managing complex cross-border transactions and its ability to deliver solid results for entrepreneurial companies.
“The transaction brings together a local market leader in a dynamic, but highly fragmented sector such as veterinary services, and a strategic player that combines proven expertise in Central and Eastern Europe, consolidation ambitions, and capital strength. This partnership combines most of the ingredients needed to create the ideal platform for accelerated expansion. At BCP, we believe that more and more Romanian entrepreneurs should cultivate such ambitions and consider expanding their businesses, including through strategic partnerships,” said Dragoș Tudose, partner at BCP, who coordinated the transaction over a total period of more than twelve months.
The transaction was structured to ensure the premises for a solid growth trajectory for Mobile Vet, facilitating the expansion of its product and service portfolio in Romania and on foreign markets. Further development will leverage the integrated platform already developed by Mobile Vet, while also benefiting from the buyer's strategic support, including access to new markets, support for growth initiatives, and optimisation of support functions.
“Joining Mobile Vet to the LuxVet Group is for us not just a step towards growth, but a true transformation in the way we think about veterinary care in Romania. Combining the experience of our doctors and our innovative solutions with the resources and know-how of the LuxVet Group will allow us to offer services at the highest level. This is the fulfillment of our vision – the health, safety, and comfort of every animal, available in every corner of the country,” said Razvan Gheoca, co-founder of Mobile Vet.
Mobile Vet currently operates a network of seven veterinary clinics with their own pharmacies – four in Bucharest and three in Vâlcea County – as well as an independent veterinary pharmacy, all within the same integrated platform. The company also has an online store and a pharmacy dedicated to pets, under the "Mobile Pet" brand, carries out B2B distribution of medical equipment, accessories, and consumables through its "Mobile Medical" division, and produces its own supplements for pets, marketed under the "Mobile Pharma" brand. Mobile Vet offers comprehensive veterinary services, including advanced diagnostics, 24/7 emergency medical care, and specialities such as ophthalmology, imaging, and surgery, strengthening its position as an integrated platform in the field of veterinary services.
LuxVet Group is a leading consolidator in the veterinary services sector, based in Poland and covering several countries in Central and Eastern Europe and the Baltic region. LuxVet has implemented a strategy of acquiring high-performing clinics to build the largest regional platform focused on medical excellence and long-term value creation. LuxVet supports local entrepreneurs in the next step of their business development, with a mission to provide the highest standard of service to its growing customer base.
